Chemistry, heart and emotion. Three words that describes the single "Stranger", a lovely duet with Christy and Lexie Carroll (produced by Dan McDougall), in a very good way.

Christy is a singer songwriter and actor from Castlemilk on the South Side of Glasgow. He left school at sixteen after struggling with dyslexia and began busking on Souchiehall Street. The EPs Homegrown (2020) and Somebody Else Instead (2021) was released on MADE Records and gained over 20 million streams. 

The future looked bright when he was named One to Watch by Amazon Music and he signed a major record deal with Decca. The dream didn't quite turn out as Christy hoped though, and two years later the break with Decca was a fact.

Struggling to get back on his feet finding joy in music again, he made a phone call to his old friends in MADE Records to get back in business, and slowly the passion for music has returned. His debut album is now ready to be released, and "Stranger" is a single building up to the album.

Duett partner Lexie Carroll, twenty year old singer-songwriter from London, is emotionally intelligent beyond her years. Composed of a dainty mix of melancholic indie, folk and pop, inspired by the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver and Aurora, her music give an intimate look into the inner workings of her mind as she transitions from a girl to a young woman, dancing between a hopeful joy and wistfulness throughout her repertoire.

She has a string of impressive live performances under her belt, having sold out a headline show at London’s OMEARA last October, has supported Adam Melchor, Matilda Mann, Tom Odell, Wasia Project and flowerovlove, as well as playing at Reading & Leeds, All Points East and The Great Escape. Last year saw her collaborate with Alfie Jukes on ‘Slow Lane’ and receive acclaim from BBC Radio 1, where her single ‘Violet’ made the station’s introducing playlist.
